'Galloping through the Wheat' uses bronze horses with stilt-like knives attached to their legs, which descend from the air onto a loaf of bread... slicing through it and continuing through the wall.
This kind of cutting device, these raging stallions bisecting the soft material very much relates to the early work. The interest is in passage from one place to another or severing parts from the whole.”
